Easily Scan Document From Phone Using Office Lens App
Microsoft has released a highly anticipated app to help people scan their document easily. The newly released app is called the Office Lens, this brilliant app was developed by the team behind Microsoft and it work well with other Microsoft products like Office 365 suite, OneNote as well as OneDrive.
One of the main purpose of the Office Lens is to help us digitise anything we’d like to digitise using mobile phone, it can be used to scan notes on the whiteboard, receipt slips, cards and other documents we wish to digitise.
We don’t need any scanner to do so, all we is a smartphone camera and the app will do the scanning. Not only scanning ability, the app comes with the abilities to trim and enhance the digital versions of those documents. The final scan can be stored as a PDF file, PowerPoint and Word files.
The app comes with a built-in OCR functionality to convert the printed words in the image into editable text. This can be handy to boost people productivity by keep digital versions of their documents. Students can use this to keep class notes, scan whiteboard notes and other things.
